The process of ordering cannabis delivery online is a new experience for most people. Flower Market is here to make it a seamless, enjoyable process for you. Below, we have answered all the common questions we’ve heard in our travels. If there’s a question we have an answered you can always contact us to ask us a question directly.

What do I need to sign up?

For recreational marijuana orders and delivery, a valid state issued ID or driver’s license or passport showing that you are over 21 years of age.

If you live in an area that currently only allows medical marijuana sales, a valid ID and a valid California medical marijuana card issued from the county.

A working phone number which can receive calls and texts.

90% of communication from drivers to consumers happens via text message. If you do not have a smartphone or cell phone compatible with SMS, there is a high likelihood that order attempts could result in cancelation.

A form of payment (cash only – cards are coming soon).

Do I need to create an account?

No, you do not need to create an account to place an adult-use cannabis order. We advise making an account to take advantage of member discounts, promo and special offers from Flower Market.

Upon delivery you will need to show your driver your ID or if you are a medical cannabis patient, your county issued medical marijuana card.

What happens after I place my order?

After you place your marijuana delivery order, you will receive a text message confirming the status of your order. You can reply to this message to communicate with customer support and ask any questions you may have.

Once your order is packed and the driver is headed your way, you will receive an automated text confirming the ETA. You can communicate with the driver in case there are any special delivery instructions.

The driver will come to your door  to verify your age, your identity, receive payment and sign for the order before delivering the product.

After you receive your order, please check to make sure the contents are correct. Contact the driver if the items are not what you ordered. If the driver already left, call or text customer support.

Please be at the location when the driver arrives, we cannot wait longer than five minutes if you are not there.

Do you delivery to medical and adult use cannabis consumers?

We serve both medical cannabis patients and recreational adult use marijuana consumers in Palm Springs.

What hours are you open for delivery?

We open for delivery at 1 p.m. You can place scheduled orders up to 24 hours in advance. We cannot fulfill orders past 10 p.m. All orders must be delivered and signed for before 10 p.m. per state compliance regulations. If we are unable to deliver your order before 10 p.m., we will move your order to the next day. Dispatch will contact you to figure out the next best delivery time.

To help ensure your on-demand order is received that day, last call is now 9:00 p.m. for the Coachella Valley and 7:30 p.m. for Banning & Beaumont regions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit cards upon delivery and payments onine via ACH. The online payments option is our preferred method as it is contactless, one-click, safe, secure and seamless. 

We do not have access to your financial information. The integration is supported by a third party named Stronghold.

Do I tip the driver?

Drivers work hard to provide a top-notch service. They always appreciate an acknowledgement of their dedication to a quality experience for you.

Do you service the entire Coachella Valley with cannabis delivery?

We are rolling out our service to more cities in the valley as business licenses are approved.

Currently we deliver cannabis to Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Desert Hot Springs, Morongo, Indio and Coachella.

We will update this section when we service more cities.

What types of locations do you deliver to?

We like to keep deliveries convenient and discreet. We will deliver to your home, hotel, hospital, senior center, golf course or business.

We will NOT deliver to a random address or in public on the street.

We cannot deliver to any address on U.S. Federal property, including parks.

What is scheduled delivery?

Scheduled deliveries available 1pm – 10pm  through specific time slots. You can choose a time slot up to 24 hours in advance. Deliveries are typially completed within that tims lot. The scheduled menu conatains of the products availible on our menu. The express menu is more limited.

We highly suggrested utilizing the scheduled delivery menu as you get full access to our menu and it makes planning and logistics much easier.

If there are special cannabis products that you want, please contact customer support to make sure the driver has what you want.

What is express delivery?

Express deliveries are available 1pm – 10pm and are typically fulfilled within a short time window. The on demand menu is a selection of our best products in all categories to give you a variety of quality options.

Sometimes our drivers will run out of certain inventory items while on their routes. Our drivers are trained to suggest similar products if a particular one is out of stock.

If there are special marijuana products that you want, please contact customer support to make sure the driver has what you want.

How do I sign up for delivery if I am a medical cannabis patient?

Sign up occurs on the web page that displays our cannabis menu. Click the navigation to sign into our system.

You’ll need to upload your state-issued ID, your county issued medical card and other information requested in the sign up process.

How are cannabis taxes calculated?

There are three types of taxes consumers may see on their receipt:

  • CA Excise Taxes – 15%
  • Local Cannabis Taxes – 10% (Will vary by city)
  • Sales Taxes – 9.25%

Who is exempt from cannabis taxes?

Consumers with state-issued MMID cards are exempt from paying Sales Taxes on their purchases, but must still pay the Excise and Local Cannabis Taxes.

How are cannabis tax dollars used?

With regulated cannabis comes taxes necessary to pay for the implementation and enforcement of these new regulations, as well as a host of other benefits for the state and local jurisdictions, including funding for research on the newly legalized cannabis market, developing a test for impaired driving, community reinvestment and research on the pharmacological impacts of cannabis.

My order got cancelled. What happened?

We are sorry to hear that your order was canceled. We always expect to complete every order, but a few factors can sometimes get in the way.

Here are some possible reasons as to why your order was canceled as well as a couple of recommendations to prevent this in the future:

Your driver could not reach you upon arriving at your delivery address.

  • Your driver will often contact you via phone when they arrive at your location, so please ensure that your contact information is current and you are ready to receive both calls and texts during a delivery. For this reason, we require SMS enabled phones.

  • Your driver was unable to locate you at the delivery location.

    • Drivers can arrive surprisingly fast, so always be ready at the location you input before placing an order.

  • The delivery location you input was different than your actual location.

    • Always double check the delivery info before requesting an order as the driver cannot leave the product anywhere except in your hands.

  • Car troubles or other unforeseen hindrances have prevented the driver from completing your request.

    • Unfortunately, certain elements are out of our hands, and we have to cancel a delivery from time to time. If an order is canceled, you will not be charged, and you can simply place a new order.

  • Your order was placed too close to closing time.

State laws do not permit marijuana deliveries after 10:00 PM (PST).  We try to shut off ordering so that no orders can be placed that will result in a delivery being made after 10:00 PM (or earlier based on your local laws). If you are able to complete an order that will result in the delivery being made after 10:00 PM, we may need to cancel it.

I don't see the product that I want on your menu.

Do you have a delivery fee?

We do not have a delivery fee, just a $40 minimum to most cities in the Coachella Valley.

The minimum for Indio and Coachella is $60.
